The Borowski Origin Story

From a bag of sand pulled from the earth to a finished piece of handcrafted art, glassmaking runs deep in the Borowski family. Going back decades and across multiple generations, each member of the Borowski family dedicates themselves to honing their craft and perfecting the art of glassmaking with every piece they create.

Artistic Family

Meet the family behind these world-renowned glass art creations! The Borowski family of artists have been producing glass sculptures for decades and have developed their own distinct style unique to the Borowski family name. Stanislaw Borowski started the company and has passed the art down to his three sons to continue the legacy. Read more below.

Stanislaw Borowski

A LIFE FOR ART

The artist Stanislaw Borowski, one of the big names in the European studio-glass movement of the late 1970s, achieved a previously unseen quality in his engraved and sculptural works. Compellingly presented in numerous exhibitions, they have reached a wide audience in Europe, Asia, and the USA.

Stani Jan Borowski

Stani, the youngest son in this family, was born in 1981 and graduated from Koln Design Academy in Germany. As a newly born artist, he is the most intelligent and potential multi-media artist in modern art circle.

His artworks are mostly collected by museums and collectors all over the world.  In addition to his paintings and sculptures, made from bronze, metal and glass, he creates many unusual sculptures for the Artist Edition as well as colourful objects for the Studio Line and the Outdoor Objects collections.

Pawel Borowski

The glass artist Pawel Borowski, the eldest son of Stanislaw Borowski, was born in Krosno, Poland in 1969, is one of Borowski Studio owner. He creates unique artworks for Artist Series, meanwhile contributes a lot for Studio Series and Outdoor Sculpture Series. His works are able to seen in world top exhibition or collected by personal collectors or international art museums.
